If you want to relax in Kapas Island, go to Marang jetty (which is 15km south of Kuala Terengganu). Please do not mistaken with Merang because Merang is another town, 40km north of the state capital.
Buy the boat ticket from the ticketing counter at the jetty and book the accommodation too (if you want to stay there). Return ticket cost around RM30.00. Look for boat timetable. The boat drive to the island will take only 20 minutes. Happy travelling.
