Kuala Dungun is the old part of Dungun town, located at the estuary of Dungun River. Those days this town centre has prospered and was the centre of activity. Now the activity has shifted towards the main road at the Sura Gate. However, it still retain its central market here.The bus station and the new bridge that connect Kuala Dungun with Tanjung Jara had made this centre popular again.

If you want to watch or appreciate this scenery, you have to take the road to Dungun. If you travel from Kuala Terengganu, you need to take left turn when you reach Tanjong Jara. Then continue driving until you reach the bridge. Then, you will see this scenery. Happy travelling.
